Sandra Higgins is the Arts Curator for The Drawing Rooms, bringing a selection of work by established and emerging artists regularly to our walls, all of which are available to purchase.
TDR and Sandra have also teamed up to bring you a fantastic arts program, with ‘Sandra’s Salons’ events bimonthly, an Artist Membership package, and an exclusive 10% discount for members on any artwork purchases.
‘Sandra’s Salons’ hosts talks by exhibiting artists, as well as poets, curators and authors, with film nights and a regular guide to collecting art. In the well-known tradition of private salons, audience participation and lively discussion are encouraged, with themed fancy dress challenges every few months as a fun way to fuel the sense of comradery.
“A salon is a gathering of people held by an inspiring host. During the gathering they amuse one another and increase their knowledge through conversation. (…) Salons were an important place for the exchange of ideas.” from Wikipedia
